Park Rules & Guest Guidelines
To help ensure a safe, peaceful and enjoyable stay for all guests, Kei Mouth Caravan Park requires all visitors to follow the park rules during their stay. These guidelines are designed to protect guests, preserve the park environment, and support a relaxed coastal camping experience for everyone.

- Max Occupancy: 6 persons per site
- Vehicles: Max 2 per site
- Speed Limit: 15 km/h
- Fires: Only in designated braai areas
- Check-in: 12:00 | Check-out: 10:00
- Visitors: Max 3 per site (no overnight stays)
- Pets: Allowed by arrangement (max 2 small dogs)
- Cleanliness: Use bins & keep sites tidy
- Wildlife: No feeding animals
Arrival, Departure & Booking (4)
Must I register at reception on arrival?
Yes. All guests must register at reception on arrival before occupying a site. Only registered guests
may occupy a booked site, and guests must use the specific site allocated to them by park management.
What are the payment and booking terms?
A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking, and the balance of the booking fee is payable on check-in.
Failure to comply with payment terms may result in cancellation of the booking.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 12:00 and check-out time is 10:00. Late check-outs are subject to availability
and prior arrangement with management.
Is there a maximum stay period?
Yes. The maximum stay is 30 days unless otherwise approved by management. Sites must also be left
clean, tidy and clear on departure.
Occupancy, Visitors & Conduct (4)
How many people and vehicles are allowed per site?
A maximum of 6 persons is permitted per site, and a maximum of 2 vehicles is allowed per site.
No parking is permitted on occupied sites other than your allocated site, and guests must remain
within the boundaries of their allocated campsite.
What are the visitor rules?
All visitors must be registered at reception. Visitor fees apply and must be paid on arrival.
No more than 3 visitors per site are permitted, visitors must depart by the time communicated
by management, and overnight visitors are not permitted unless approved and booked.
Are there quiet hours in the park?
Yes. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 07:00. Noise levels must be kept reasonable at all times,
and loud music, parties, and disruptive behaviour are not permitted.
What conduct is expected from guests?
Guests are expected to respect fellow guests and staff at all times. Disorderly, abusive,
threatening, dangerous or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated, and management reserves
the right to enforce all park rules where necessary.
Safety, Facilities & Environment (4)
What are the fire and braai rules?
Fires are permitted only in designated braai facilities. No ground fires or open fires are allowed.
Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished after use. Fire restrictions may also
apply during high fire-risk periods.
What are the ablution and communal facility rules?
Ablution and communal facilities must be kept clean and tidy. Children must be supervised at all
times in ablution areas, and any damage or faults must be reported to management immediately.
How should guests protect the park environment?
Please use the refuse bins provided and help protect the natural environment. Feeding of monkeys
or other wildlife is strictly prohibited, and guests should avoid any activity that damages the
park surroundings.
What are the speed limit and general safety rules?
The speed limit within the park is 15 km/h. Children must be supervised at all times, and guests
use the park and its facilities at their own risk.
Pets, Liability & Non-Compliance (4)
Are pets allowed in the park?
Pets are permitted by prior arrangement only. A maximum of two small dogs per site is allowed,
pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and excessive barking or aggressive behaviour will not
be tolerated.
What are pet owners responsible for?
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets may not be washed in ablution or
wash-up facilities, and pets in season (on heat) are not permitted in the park.
What is the park liability position?
Kei Mouth Caravan Park takes reasonable measures to ensure guest safety. However, the park shall
not be held liable for loss, damage, theft, or injury to persons or property.
What happens if rules are not followed?
Failure to comply with these rules may result in termination of stay without refund. Management
reserves the right to remove any guest or visitor from the park if necessary.
